Angular orientation determination in SINS: traditional algorithms comparison

The principle of organization strap-down inertial navigation systems is based on numerical integration angular velocities and accelerations. purpose algorithms to approximate the behavior a dynamic system (unmanned aerial vehicle – UAV) with continuous time using digital computer. efficiency determined by accuracy stability computational process. algorithm may have small error, but at same be inefficient due instability method when step or conditions change. standard way test for them under control operating (when performing typical UAV flight along route canonical movement). article presents results simulation modeling traditional in rectilinear conical motion, calculating values various methods. analysis obtained research carried out, which allows us choose an that has advantage respect simplicity, depending conditions. For no minimal undampened harmonic oscillations its body, route, best, terms volume calculations, second-order implementing average speed method. Its error angles ranges from 3.6 43%, approximately equal errors considered (an second approximation method, one-step thirdorder accuracy), three-fold smaller amount mathematical calculations.
